Courtesy Visit: The Party Leadership of the Federal Capital Territory Chapter

Frontline National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, has enjoined Nigerians to be patient with the Buhari Administration as it takes careful steps to set the ship of state sailing.

Dr. Onu made these remarks when he received in audience, the Party Leadership in the Federal Capital Territory Chapter who paid him a courtesy visit in his Abuja recently.

The former Abia State Governor said in view of the enormous challenges which the newly inaugurated Administration inherited which spanned over a period of 16 years, there is the need for careful planning in order to ensure that the mistakes of the past were not repeated.

He expressed confidence that the Buhari Administration will deliver on its campaign promises and stressed the need for Nigerians to rally round the Administration for it to succeed in its redemption mission.

Dr. Onu was optimistic that President Buhari would not let Nigerians down and harped on the need for understanding from Nigerians to strengthen the President’s resolve to provide good governance.

He urged members of the APC to remain steadfast in their support for the party and urged them to close ranks as efforts continue to ensure that the party moves the country forward.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Mr. Samuel Iloh, extolled the rare leadership qualities of Dr. Onu, which he enumerated to include integrity and political fidelity.

He recalled the pivotal role the APC National Leader played in the formation of the nation’s leading opposition political party and urged him to remain steadfast in his belief in democracy as an instrument for good governance.

He further recalled the efforts the former ANPP National Chairman made to ensure the Igbos voted for President Buhari during the Presidential election, pointing out that without such a commitment, the Igbos would not have embraced the change agenda of the APC during the elections.

He was confident that the Buhari Administration would accommodate all Nigerians and enjoined them to remain steadfast in their support for President Buhari.
